Neil has extensive experience in the design and development of systems supporting time sensitive applications both at the network and operating system level. Before founding Vipadia he spent five years as a Researcher in the Networks and Performance group at Microsoft’s European Research Centre in Cambridge where he carried out research into wired and wireless networking quality of service and performance issues. Prior to joining Microsoft he was at the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory where he worked on quality of service issues within multi-service operating systems, contributing to the Nemesis operating system. Neil maintains close links to the University of Cambridge and was a Bye-Fellow of Fitzwilliam College for six years, having served as Director of Studies in Computer Science between 2000 and 2004. |

Richard Mortier Technical Director Mort has extensive experience in measurement and analysis of networking protocols and systems. Before joining Vipadia he was a Researcher for six years in the Cambridge Systems and Networking group at Microsoft’s European Research Centre in Cambridge, where he investigated a variety of topics concerning networked system performance and management. Prior to joining Microsoft he spent six months working for Sprint Advanced Technology Labs in California, providing expertise in Internet routing to the IP Group, and developing and deploying software to collect and analyze the ISIS routing protocol in Sprint’s tier-1 IP backbone (PyRT). He completed his Ph.D. with the Systems Research Group at the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory in 2001, titled Internet Traffic Engineering. |

Angela has a strong commercial background with particular
expertise in sales, marketing and business research. She worked
for a number of years as an Information Researcher for several
international investment banks before moving into sales and
marketing roles at Thomson Financial and Reuters. Angela is also a qualified recruitment consultant with experience recruiting research professionals into both blue chip and new media companies. |
